Here's a press release for my latest initiative. It's something I really believe in and should be fun.
A new networking group for creative and media professionals is being launched in the heart of Tunbridge Wells next week (Wednesday July 23).
MeejaHub is the business and social networking group that works to bring creative and media professionals together to exchange ideas, sources, industry news and gossip - over a drink, preferably, or via the website at www.meejahub.co.uk.
MeejaHub is the brainchild of three Kent-based media/creative professionals. Gaynor Edwards, of Torpedo Juice, Jez Timms, of JNSquared, and Stephen Fleming of Copythatworks, have pooled their resources to come up with a complete networking package.
‘MeejaHub is a way to get creative talent together to help one another,' said Stephen. ‘It works online and, crucially off-line too.
‘Tunbridge Wells has a wealth of creative talent and media companies. The area is crying out for a group like this. MeejaHub will give them all a chance to meet up in an informal and relaxed way.'
The launch meeting, with welcome drink courtesy of Taylor Made Recruitment, is at the Hotel du Vin, Tunbridge Wells, on Wednesday July 23 from 6pm to 8pm. Entry is free to everyone who signs up at the website (www.meejahub.co.uk).
Membership costs just £10 per month and gives free entry to all MeejaHub meetings, online access to media information, support, leads and jobs; an interactive online forum and space to upload profiles and portfolios; discounts at local restaurants; preferential rates for selected local services.
A special launch offer gives members 15 months for the price of 12 if they sign up before, or at, the launch. And there's also a money back guarantee available to any member within the first three months of joining.
